A little out of line

I was messing around with perspectives and shallow depth of fields. This particular shot attracted me, as the larger head piece was a little out of true. I decided to go with a sepia / black and white finish as the paintwork was rather dull, and I was more after the texture and geometry.

At this stage I hadn’t invested in a polarised filter, so there are some glints as well, which are more muted after desaturation. I’ve since purchased a CPL filter (Hoya HD) for my EF-S 15-85mm lens (at 72mm, it’s not a cheap filter, and I wanted the low profile, in case I’m shooting at the wide end of the lens).
